主要研究方向为健康行为学、社会心理流行病学。近五年在Women and Birth, Frontiers in Psychology, BMC Psychology, Clinical Psychology Reviews, Preventive Medicine等期刊发表20余篇论文，其中11篇为第一或通讯作者，主持省部级科研课题2项，参与国家级课题3项。2019年曾获湖北省科技进步二等奖，2021年出版专著《基于计划行为理论的选择性剖宫产意向形成机制研究》。目前担任《结核与和肺病杂志》青年编委，也担任Tropical Medicine and Health, the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, BMC Public Health等多个杂志的审稿人。
